Date: September, 2015

TN01 was a collaboration between Branch Technology and designer Keith Kaseman, exploring the possibilities of large scale additive manufacturing. This was our first commissioned project, and was the tallest 3D printed object in the Americas (at the time). The commission was originally part of the “3D Printing the Future” exhibit at the Museum of Design Atlanta, covering the full range of design experiments using various AM technologies. It has since been added to MODA’s permanent collection.

TN01 represented a culmination of the first 2 years of development at Branch, including a sophisticated toolpath generation algorithm and freeform extrusion hardware. The founding team and I still look back fondly on the collaboration as a milestone in our history.
