Curve appeal
About Curve Appeal
Branch Technology is building the first complete building using CELLULAR FABRICATION, the combination of its freeform 3D printing process and conventional construction materials to form functional composites.
Curve Appeal is the winning entry in Branch’s global design contest, the Freeform 3D Printed Home Design Challenge, held in 2016. We chose a design that would challenge us to push our technology beyond existing limits, and build a home like none the world has ever seen before.
Curve Appeal will be a fully functional home, but will be used for demonstration purposes and ongoing research. It will be located on the campus of Chattanooga State Community College, adjacent to the Chattanooga STEM School and accessible to the public via Chattanooga’s Pedestrian Riverwalk extending from the downtown area to the edge of Nickajack Lake.
